The firebox is lined with refractory brick and a convenient ash pan makes clean out quick and easy. An optional variable speed blower is available (sold separately) to maximize heat control.

Napoleon Wood Fireplace President's Lifetime Limited Warranty
The following materials and workmanship in your new Napoleon wood fireplace are warranted against defects for as long as you own the fireplace. This covers: combustion chamber, heat exchanger, ceramic glass (thermal breakage only), gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelainized enameled components, aluminum extrusion trims ash drawer and cast iron castings.
Electrical (110V) components and wearable parts such as blower, thermal switch, switches, wiring, firebrick, gasketing, stainless steel baffle retainer and high temperature paint are covered and Napoleon will provide replacement parts free of charge during the first year of the limited warranty.
Labor related to warranty repair is covered free of charge during the first year. Repair work, however, requires the prior approval of an authorized company official. Labor costs to the account of Napoleon are based on a predetermined rate schedule and any repair work must be done through an authorized Napoleon dealer.
We are loving our stove. It warms our home well, plus are enjoying the fire place feel. Not real happy with the little pan underneath of it, but we have a coal bucket and shovel that works just great.
