Needs better quality control
I ordered this wood rack because of its small footprint and I liked that it came with all the accessories needed for my new wood stove. I also liked its simple lines which will integrate with almost any design.
After a lot of research, I also found it to be a great value for all that it is. It is also very easy to assemble.
However, I had to give it a low mark because the middle shelf of the wood rack did not fit properly. One of the welded fittings was misaligned so it wouldn't sit in the frame.
My husband used a torch to heat the fitting and slowly and very carefully, he was able to align it so that it would slide on the metal pegs of the frame.
I hope that I just happened to have the misfortune of receiving one that slipped through the quality control check and that the one I received is not an indication of general poor workmanship.

Looks nice but Broke after One Week
We recently purchased this log rack for our living room. While it looks OK and functioned well initially, after about a week one of the 4 "bolts" broke-actually steel studs- which holds the rack together and supports the logs causing the rack to tip precariously. I tried reinserting this stud into the hole, but without success. It's apparently not threaded or even welded, just "pressed" into the hole in the vertical tube.
We applied gorilla glue to the stud & reinserted it into the hole; Do not expect this to hold up given the weight of 2' of wood in the rack.
Probably best to avoid this product.

Great rack and tools
This rack fit perfectly on our fireplace's brick apron. Looks good and the tools as well as kindling and Fatwood storage right nearby is terrific. Very satisfied.

The rack has proven perfect for the small space I have. It is everything I thought it wasand perhaps more. Very high quality, well described in your catalog, sturdy, handsome.

Quite sturdy, very quick and easy assembly. Was so pleased w/ the one I got for myself that I purchased another as a gift. It is a nice size and convenient in that the wood is at a higher level, so easier on the back.

I purchased the northline log rack for my husband. We both love it. It is compact, but hold enough logs for at least a fire lasting several hours without going outside or to the cold garage. I also appreciate that this rack contains everything that you need to start and maintain a fire and to clean up. thanks for this product.
