Not as advertised
I was searching for woodstove gloves made in the USA, as I try to support American made products whenever possible. These gloves came up on a search I made saying they were made in the USA so I ordered 2 pair. When I received them I was very disappointed to learn they were made in China, so I returned them.
Robert's Comment: Our website doesn't say these gloves are made in the USA. Most likely the search results returned our website since the word Fireplace Gloves was in the search string which we have little control over. Frankly we'd love to sell American made fireplace gloves if any were available...at any price.

These are the Gloves You Want
I didn't realize it when I ordered these recently, but these gloves are the same ones we bought back in 2000 when we bought our house (so that original pair lasted almost 13 years!). These are the ones you want! No need to look any further - great product, great price, great service.

Good Arm Protection, Only Okay for Hands
Better than average gloves. Arm protection is very good and and added bonus when carrying in logs. Hand protection is only average or so. Expected more and better heat resistance for the price.

Everyone should have these
these gloves are great. my husband tends to put his whole arm into the fireplace to place a log and I wince each time.
Got him these gloves and we find that instead of just throwing the log in for fear of the fire, he can take his time to place it.
Great price too.

I am using these on my first stove, and this is my first pair of fireplace gloves. But they seem to work very well, and provide good protection for both hands and arms due to their length. I would recommend them.

Excellent product. Easy to use. A little cumbersom due to the size and somewhat rigid. However, the rigidness & size protect my hands and arms and THAT is obviously extremely important when having to handle items for my wood stove. These gloves are only a tool and not a substitute for common sense. I urge you to use extreme caution and absolute attention when around a hot and dangerous fireplace or wood stove!

Great product, well insulated. After grazing my forearm against the stove while wearing my 13 inch gloves for the umpteenth time thus getting a little crescent-shaped burn, once again, I bit the bullet and bought this item, which actually cost less than my original purchase from a local fireplace store. What a fool I was to put off this purchase! I've relegated my original overpriced 13-inchers to the role of work gloves while carrying wood.

Great gloves...a little stiff in the fingers but I think they will soften up with wear. Great for long arms & deep wood stoves to keep from getting your upper arms burned.

Small hole in near the index finger on the left glove. The product is so inexpensive that it isn't worth replacing since the flaw doesn't affect performance/safety. However, that flaw does bring my rating down two stars. I will buy again when I wear them out because they do work very well even with the small hole.

These gloves work well. They slip on and off easily and extend up to the elbows. I have actually reached into the fire without burning myself. Highly recomend them if one needs to place logs on the fire in a specific way or manner.

The gloves are great. No more burning hands or arms by accidentally touching the body of the wood burning stove. No more singing hair off your hand either! Small amount of stitching came apart at the opening of the glove, but can be easity repaired.

EVerything they are stated to be! Excellent and large enough to fit a mans size large hands easily. I had a pair of these before and they lasted almost 4 years and really stood up to constant use. Would not buy any other kind for our woodstove and fireplace work!

I love these gloves !!! I have only been using them for about 1 month, so I don't know how long they will last, but I would never go back to using the shorter style. Great for protecting my arms while tending my woodstove or carrying wood.

These 20 gloves are fantastic. I got them for Christmas and have used them daily for a month with my woodburner. I am 6'1 tall and have long arms, and these gloves protect me to my elbows. It is now easy and safe to place logs deep into the firebox without burning my forearms, and they are wearing far better than any other pair I have ever head. Excellent product, 5 stars.

The long sleeves protect your arms. The fingers protect well but after about a month of fires the fingers melt and begin to let the heat in. I would still buy again because they are the best fire resistant gloves I can find.

A must have for anyone with a wood stove. Reach right in and move the logs. Much easier than dealing with tools. Also allows you to handle the ash pan.
I get about 5 years out of each pair and am on my third set.
