I would rate the experience higher if some directions came with the blower. I had to call Northline, who then had me call the manufacturer to understand why the blower wasnt working. My manual with my fireplace did not detail any instructions on the blower operation and only when I called the manufacturer did I learn that the blower does not kick in until the heat level is high enough to turn on the blower. If directions or how the blower operates were included in my purchase, I would have rated the experience much higher. the manufacturer told me that they get that question all the time.
