Napoleon Direct Vent Fireplaces feature advanced burner technology and an exclusive PHAZER log set. The logs look so realistic that it's hard to tell them apart from a real wood burning fire. Dancing yellow flames and a brightly glowing charcoal bed add an authentic woodburning look and feel, without the mess of a woodburning fireplace. Up to 28,500 BTUs of heat per hour deliver cozy warmth and the versatility of operating on either natural gas or propane. Best of all, there is no electricity required to start or operate the Napoleon BGD, so it is able to provide a reliable source of heat, even during a power outage! The President's Limited Lifetime Warranty protects your fireplace for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Specific parts covered by the Lifetime Warranty include: the combustion chamber heat exchanger, stainless steel burner, logs, ceramic glass against thermal breakage, gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelain enameled surfaces and aluminum extrusion trim. Wearable components such as blowers, gas valves, etc. will be warranted for the first year. During the first year, the warranty does provide a labor allowance for Napoleon authorized dealers only.

Note: The warranty will be void, if the unit is not installed by a licensed Napoleon installer.
