Increase the effectiveness of your Stinger model bug zappers. Octenol is a naturally occurring by-product that comes from plants and some animals, (pheromone and kairomone) such as oxen and cows, which ingest large amounts of vegetable matter. Studies have shown that octenol, when combined with carbon dioxide, is highly attractive to many species of no-see-ums and biting midges. When used in conjunction with ultraviolet lighting, the octenol enhances catch rates for Stinger bug zappers. This slow release attractant should be replaced every 30 days for optimal effectiveness. Each box of NOsquito Octenol Lure contains one easy to attach refill cartridge.

It's nice to have a big supply, these lures really work, yet need changing, as directed. My zappers are always full of dead bugs, it's now possible to walk outside without the Mosquito's carring you off.

My husband and I have tried many,many mosquito products over the last 18 years and have never found a product to compare with your UV unit and the cartridges. Hi- I have no real idea how much this lure really works, but there are always mosquito to clean out in the morning. Also moths, and other flying insects which is just fine with me. But in addition, I also burn about 5 Off repellents around my deck. All I know is I have been able, with these precautions, to enjoy my evenings outside without bites.
