Though compact in design, the 1600 offers impressive performance, operating at 60%-80% efficiency, compared to the 40%-60% of conventional wood burning fireplaces. A 130 CFM blower maximizes energy performance for an ultra efficient source of heat.
Osburn's environmentally friendly 1600 wood stove uses an advanced wood combustion system, including a secondary air source, to reduce fuel wood consumption up to 33%. Heated air flows which are circulated through perforated channels under the baffle, allow for a more complete combustion; reducing wood consumption and cutting down on emissions released into the atmosphere.
The Osburn 1600 burns logs up to 17" in length and delivers up to 65,000 BTU/hr; heating up to 1600 sq ft of space. It's stylish enough to fit in well with any decor and powerful enough to provide that kind of cozy heat that only wood delivers.
