I have used wood burning stoves for around 35 years, and I am very pleased with this one. The clean burn windows are great, providing a beautiful real fire look in our living space, with the wide and angled glass giving excellent visibility.
The firebox is perhaps a little small - depth and width are fine, but unless the fire is empty of ash, the height is a little limited with bars obstructing the loading of logs at any height above the glass.
The air control works well - fully open the fire can reach high temperatures, and closed down the fire can stay hot for long periods. We have had it stay alight for over 3 days.
Emptying the ash is straightforward - a plug at the back of the fire is removed and the ash is pushed into the ash box below. Since the ash is almost always hot I do this and then leave the ash in the box for a couple of days before removing it from the fire.
I have bought the blower for fire - it is really not very good, although it does work. It is too noisy, and the fitting is not great - it can rattle. The quality of the blower is generally poor.
In summary, this is beautiful, practical fire with some very very minor flaws. It is a pleasure to use, and is much admired by friends!
