Excellent functionally. Great utility platform to place food items to grill. Unfortunately, lid thermostat was not in the box but Weber was prompt in providing item at no cost. Also had a slight ding on the cooking lid that I'll address with fresh paint later. Performance of the grill is superb. You can just feel the quality Weber has put into it and the propane ignition is a gold star.

The thing about this grill is the built in charcoal bin. Or could be the attached table,or the utensil hooks, or the propane starter or the built in ash catcher. Wait, wait, it's all good. Love it!!

Being an advocate of charcoal grills, the Weber Performer is great! I have owned a number of Weber grills all charcoal and this one is the best. Having a work table and storage for the charcoal is a real plus. Lid storage during set-up is much improved. The piazo -spelling?-electric gas lighter is terrific! Can't say too much positives about this product and of course your prompt and no-nonsense delivery! As well as a great price. Keep up the great work.

We have been using gas grills for 20 years and decided to try this out.
It is great! Works just like they say. A little more work than cooking with gas, but well worth the results!
Not nearly as many flare ups from grease, cooks more evenly.
We grill year round, several days a week. We love it.

We absolutely love this grill! I first heard about it in a newspaper article, and being in the market for a grill, did some research. Nothing but excellent reviews on all websites. We are having a little problem regulating the heat but only because we are used to a gas grill. Practice makes perfect!! Would buy again and again.

I really like the grill, however, I wish they still made a version without the gas starter. The gas portion is just a nuisance, added unnecessary expense and I personally do not use it.

I was apprehensive in ordering online, only because a previous online store was not very cooperative regarding communicating whether or not the Weber Grill we were interested was available for a reasonable shipment time.

I'd grilled with other Weber grills in the past. I like the room on the grill etc. My new Weber Performer grill is even better. I like the convience of the gas starter. I like cooking with charcoal or wood and this grill is great with both.

The BBQ is great. The first thing I cooked on it was the family turkey. The rotissiere attachment worked great and the bird was awesome. I would highly recommend this grill. Good quality and clever design. No need for lighter fluid.

Product is great. It was a gift for my dad and he has loved it and the gas ignition starter. The product did have two major obvious defects and Weber was contacted directly and very promptly sent out two replacement parts. Otherwise everything is great.

I have a Weber Performer, and it is one of the best investments I have ever made. In Chicago, from early spring until at least the first freeze, we use it three or four nights a week. Whoever came up with the idea to put a gas lighter in a charcoal grill is a genius, and the countertop completes the package. If this thing ever wears out, I'm buying another one.

I've nicknamed this grill the Mac Daddy. It's fairly easy to assemble, took maybe 1/2 hour. It is the best of both grill worlds - you get great charcoal flavor with the ease of gas-start. The work space is very handy, as well as the charcoal storage bin and the easy-to-empty ash catcher. I highly recommend this grill, whether you are a seasoned griller as I am or just learning!

After using a gas grill for 6 yrs we just couldn't get our steaks cooked right. We did a lot of research on charcoal grills and found this one to be on the top of the list. The instructions are a bit frustrating since they are nothing but pictures. Prepare for a team to put this one together. Our steaks are perfect now and just the way we like them. With the table top it is exactly what we wanted. You won't go wrong with this choice.

We love the grill, so mush better not having to deal with charcoal lighter and the the long wait time. Charcoal is ready in a snap. Fast delivery and cheaper than buying one in our own town.
