  • I have a blower installed that is 10 years old.The blower motor started buzzing but would not turn. I took it out and when I plug it in a wall outlet it works perfect. Could it be when it was heated up it would not work. It is similar to the picture of FK12.Except mine has two metel tabs to hold it in place.I am thinking of just buying a new one and putting that in.I dont see any size ,length ect.

  • I have a Majestic DVB4136RP fireplace (DV FP MILVOLT CTL LP), and it has a ebm-papst blower that is labeled EM3030LH-179. It starts making a racket about 5 mins after it runs (but only if the gas flame is on). If the blower is run by itself, it doesn't seem to make that noise.
    
    I am not sure (a) whether I can find a replacement, or what an equivalent replacement would be.
    
    Your help is appreciated.
  • Zeb, Tthe correct replacement blower for your Majestic fireplace would actually be a FK24 blower kit like 5MT-65240.
