- We purchased a home with a gase fireplace. The fireplace manufactuer is now out of business and we would like to make it more functional without having to replace the entire thing. Enclosed is the fireplace information for your review: The fireplace info is as follows: Marco Fireplace Model # 792771A Serial # Z-705488 Blower Unit Kit Model # 79. We were told that Lennox purchased Marco and that the following blowers would work: lennox fbk100, fbk200, fbk250. How do you determine what kind to buy, size, etc. Please let me know if you can assist in finding a blower for this type of fireplace to make the unit more functional rather than strictly decorative $$$$$.
- Abby, I contacted Lennox to double check this for you and unfortunately they informed me that for your particular Marco fireplace none of the FBK blowers will work as a replacement and they no longer make the blower that your fireplace requires. We do offer a few universal fireplace blowers that may work ( 5TJ-950-3306, 5TJ-950-3307,5TJ-950-3311, and 5TJ-950-3312). For the universal blowers you measure your blower space of your fireplace and compare with the blower dimensions to determine if it will fit.
