  • What kind of prep is required for high temp paint
  • Basically the same preparation you would do when painting any metal surface. I recommend steel wool for most areas to scuff the area. Sand paper for rusted areas. Then wipe down the wood stove or fireplace to remove the dust. Paint Prep & Cleaner is also great to get the surface clean and ready to paint....Robert
