    • I am installing your througj the wall kit and my run will be approx. 18 ft. Can chimney run at a slight angle or does it have to be plumb.reason im asking is slight angle will bypass my crossing a window.angle will be less then 10 degrees
    • Craig, It is not recommended to angle the chimney pipe as it can cause the connections to loosen and can cause a fire. You can off-set the pipe with elbows http://www.northlineexpress.com/chimney/chimney-pipe-stove-pipe/chimney-pipe/6-inch-class-a-chimney-pipe/6-inch-duratech-chimney-pipe-1/shopby/product_type-elbows.html

    • I bought metalbestos model SSII a while back and never used it. Will it fit together with any of the newer models? Are they any differences or any reason I can't mix the old model with a newer model to get my necessary height?
    • Thank you for your question. The chimney pipe will need to be the same make and model. The class a pipe does not interchange with other brands.
