- I have a 2 burner wood stove with a oval outlet located on top in the rear with a 7x4 oval opening it will be used outside on my porch with no pipe going through any walls just going out from under the eve my questions are listed below.
1 what size pipe do I need
2 do I need an adapter from oval to round
3 would you use double wall pipe
4 what guage would you use
thanks for the help - Answers; 1) I believe you would need 6" pipe. 2) You will need an adapter to go from oval to round. You could try this one or we have other oval adapters here; Pipe Adapters. Matching an adapter for some stoves that have an oval outlet can be frustrating since some are not easy to match. I would try this adapter first. If that doesn't work you could have one made to fit at a sheet metal shop or heating & cooling company. 3) You don't need double pipe. I suggest DuraBlack pipe. 4) DuraBlack pipe is 24 gauge which is fine. You could use other gauges but this gauge is heavy enough.

- I have a wood stove with an oval opening at top, the I.D. measurement is 7 5/8" x 4 3/4". it has a 1/4" thick lip that is raised 3/4". The black single wall pipe it will fit to is 6". Do you have a piece for this?
- See the answer to the question above. Here are some options (sorry this is not an exact science to figure out and is more of a try it kind of solution); 6'' DuraBlack Oval-to-Round Adapter - 1675 or 6'' 24-Ga. Snap-Lock Black Oval-To-Round Boot. We've found that even these don't work for all older stoves. You may need to contact a heating & cooling or a sheet metal company to make you up something....Robert
