I got an estimate for 650.00 to replace the damper door on my fireplace. Not having to deal with this in the past, I assumed that was reasonable. Out of curiosity, I called Vestal and they directed me here.... For just over 40.00, I purchased the damper door and the poker style control w/ L bracket. I installed it myself in 10 minutes and it fit perfect on my 40 year old damper. As if they were manufactured together.... I'm very happy.

This part was unavailable locally so I was surprised to find it so inexpensive! I used the online chat to find the exact measurements - customer service was very polite and knowledgeable. Shipping was fast and the part fits perfectly. Installation was simple.
