Perfect for the job

A great low cost alternative to metal racks, must use screws to secure properly. Had no problem fitting pressure treated 2x4's into brackets.

solid, inexpensive option for building a wood rack. Like others, had a few 2x4s that didn't fit into the brackets (for the slots that run the width of the rack, the slots for the vertical & front to back beams had a bit more clearance).

The rack brackets work very well and are a good value. They assemble with standard size 2x4 material and once secured form a good solid rack for stacking wood. I would recommend them rfor anyone who wants to keep their wood off the ground.

quality wood pile brackets

These brackets worked very well once I planed down the pressure treated 2x4s so that they would fit. I was able to set two of these units end to end and fill the space between them with wood also. I think that they need to be screwed to the 2x4s to make a solid unit.

Great way to build a wood rack.

I would have given the Stack-N-Store rack brackets a 5 of 5, except for the difference between kiln dried 2x4s vs pressure treated 2x4s. As it turned out, dimensions of pressure treated lumber are somewhat larger than "standard" 2x4s and I had to belt-sand all the ends to get them to slide through the holes in the brackets. More work than I expected, but since I had a belt sander it worked out. And, there is no "play" or wobble in the completed rack - nice tight fit.

to hold it together. Once screwed together it is sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone.

I bought four sets of the brackets because I store about four face cords of wood in the fall. The brackets worked very well I had no problems assembling the racks and they are very stable. It also made the stacking of all the firewood much easier than before I had the racks.

Third set of these brackets I have purchased and would buy more if I had the need. Easy to put together. Very strong, I even jacked one full of cord wood, 4ft. long and 4ft. tall, up put it on dollies and moved to a new location on my deck. Excellent product!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brackets work fine for quickly putting together a log rack, but absolutely require screws or bolts for stability, as they fit a bit loosely on standard 2x4's. I could have built a rack without them in about the same amount of time, but would have had to add diagonal or lateral bracing. So the brackets create a strong, stable angle joint without extra bracing. And they look nice. I'll use them again.

I have bought 8 of these brackets total.. All within 2 months. I think they are great. I make mine 12' long and have 4 sets of 4x4's underneath the 12' 2x4 stringers, to stabilize the load and so it does not Bow in the middle. They hold a half cord at 4' tall.. Great product.. Going to get more for sure. 4 total cords in 8 racks and it looks great. Wish there was a place to put a picture.

I used a double set of brackets and made my wood racks 6' high by 8'long to set on my carport. framing in the top prevents strain on the brackets from bowing out. i used treated lumber and made two of these for a total of 96 sq. ft. two 6' by 8' frames. i put a 2x4 piece of wood midway between the bottom rails to prevent sagging. it looks very neat & organized this way and the top of the racks can be used for light storage coolers, boxes of kindling, etc. it is very easy to measure/calculate how much wood you have and more importantly, how much you've used in a season to help you gauge how much you need for the next year. drill small holes in the lumber & use drywall screws to secure. an excellent product at a fair price!

I was very pleased with this prduct. The instructions were easy to follow and the recommendation for bottom support pieces width a great idea. I really like the flexibility with this design. The homeowner determines the length, width and height which allows a custom fit to firewood cordwood length. My only recommendation would be to include 32 @ 1 screws for assembly.
Thanks, mike

The log rack brackets are wonderful with one exception. The cutouts for the boards that hold the logs should be enlarged. Sometimes the vertical side boards can be a little larger than the brackets are engineered for and there's not enough room for the horizontal boards to pass through the bracket. I used a saw to trim the boards down making assembly a lot easier. Past the extra work, they're great.

Excellent value. Combined with several 2x4's, some screws and possibly some plywood if you want to add a bottom so the wood can't fall through this creates a very serviceable wood rack inexpensively. I added a 48 khaki log rack cover and now have a very discreet looking wood storage unit on my deck that keeps the wood dry, stacked and out of sight.

Easy assembly, sturdy structure. We built log racks 12' long and 7' high used a set on the top as well as the bottom. Bottom we used a 4X4 so that we could keep the metal off our deck and increase air circulation. We're happy. Don't know yet how the 2xs will hold up but I firmly believe the brackets will last a LONG time.

For the cost this product is excellent. It allows you to customize the size for the amount of wood and location of wood you want to hold. So far, although new to us, it appears to bbe very strong. We have made our holder 10 feet long and placed some support pieces across the bottom pieces of wood. It is currently storing a half cord of wood.

Great product! Just started stacking wood for next season. The job goes much faster. I'm using eight racks that will be stacked one in front of the other. After I fill one I just put the next together and keep stacking. They go together fast. During the winter as I empty one I just brake it down and store it out of the way. Its made wood management much easier.

Certainly appropriate for the price, though I found the fit with my local lumber a bit loose for my tastes. In addition, based on putting it together with nails, I'd recommend an appropriatly sized screw or gasp a nut-bolt combination to take the load of a full face cord 8ft long setup.
