I purchased this heater for our family room which is on the north west corner of our house and is always cold during the winter months. I placed it on the brick hearth of our worthless gas fireplace and used the supply line for an easy hook up. It has been more than adequate for heating the family room and with the ceiling fan on it heats the kitchen and main floor as well. This is a great product which performs better than I expected.

I bought this heater for my daughter in her attic third floor apt, she lives in the North-East. This one heats up the entire third floor. She keeps the seting at a 2. The old monster, that she used to have- hardly heated up, kid you not, 15 feet away. She said that her gas bill is now almost cut in half.
