I bought these gloves over two winter seasons ago. We use our woodstove 24hr a day in the cold months....so they have had a workout !. These are Hard Working Gloves. You can reach in and readjust a log, if they touch flame, you will never feel it. They protect from accidental brushes with the woodstove doors. ( I have scars to testify not using this length glove)
These gloves are comfortable right from the start and a good fit. I highly recommend the FlameX to protect from the heat. They are holding up so well, I can easily imagine them lasting 10 years.

well worth the money!
These gloves seemed a little pricey, but I have been very pleased with them. They were very comfortable the moment I put them on. I had been used to using welding gloves, and they worked great at first, but then they start to break down and become unsafe. These gloves have not broken down, hardened (as welding gloves will), or cracked at all! They offer good protection for as long as it takes to turn and maneuver burning logs, but hey--it's fire. Don't leave 'em in for too long, or you'll feel some heat pretty quick.
The loops near the cuffs make sense for hanging them up, but I'm a little leery of them catching fire, or hanging up on something that's on fire as I bring them out of the fireplace. I highly recommend these gloves, and will buy more when (or if?...) these wear out. Maybe I'll just snip the little loops off...

These gloves are great. They allow us to place wood on our fire without feeling the heat. My husband just puts his hand into the firebox to place the logs. It is so much easier than using the fireplace tools. He only has to do that sometimes now. I love the length as it protects more of your arm. It is also great for avoiding splinters. Thanks so much for this great product. The price is reasonable, and delivery was very quick within a couple days.

I am very pleased with these gloves. I can add a log to a fire and stay well protected. I have small hands and they fit well enough that I don't feel they're going to slide off when I'm using them.

Great gloves log cuff, do not get hot, wear very well would definitely buy again! Use only wood stove to heat entire house, these gloves are a must! Thanks for selling such a great product!

These gloves are a great product. I had been using regular leather work gloves to tend our woodstove, and these gloves are like night and day comparatively. They are attractive even with black smudges, comfortable and well-constructed more importantly, they allow me to easily adjust burning firewood and to add wood to a blazing fire without concern, due to the thick insulation and the length of the glove providing protection for the forearm. Highly recommended.

Have had the gloves for about a month, so I really can't speak about the durability, but the product is as described. I have picked up burning logs that have falled out of my fireplace with ease using the gloves. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a fireplace/wood burning stove.

I used these gloves to stoke wood in a wood fired potery kiln. The kiln reached 2300 degrees. The gloves worked perfectly. The extreme heat started to dry out the leather at the finger tips, but other than that, there was no other damage. I will buy another pair when needed.

These gloves are perfect! I do a lot of fire tending for festivals throughout the year, and sometimes the only way to get the wood to stay in place is to grab it and readjust it. With these gloves, I felt no heat on my hands, and they've been holding up lovely, even under such constant use.

Welding gloves are the best. These are close without the extra cash to lay out. The picture shows placing a fresh piece of wood on a fire. As most know, the gloves are also used to handle hot and miss-placed logs. It would be nice if the material was a bit thicker in the fingers. They give 8-10 seconds of heat protection from glowing wood. The price was right.
