The large opening made it easy to load ashes into the bucket from the fireplace. It was also sturdy enough to allow transport to the outside pile for trash items.

Love it! easy to clean out the wood stove now that I have my handy Coal Hod. My husband was so happy to see this item come out of the shipping box. My husband had no idea I had bought this for him! Shipping was quick, great product!

Use this to fill my pellet stove. I purchased two to fill up with pellets and have on hand in the house when I want to use the stove and they are perfect and very decorative.

This is niced sized hod and holds a lot of ashes. Looks good on our small new hearth. It is very light and easy to carry even with a full load of ashes.

I bought this for my wood pellet stove. Although it's a bit smaller than I thought it would be, it does the job just fine! Plus, it looks nice sitting next to the stove.
