Decent Stove

This is 2nd winter owning this stove. I needed an economical wood stove and bought the USSC 2421. My log home is 920 sq. ft. including basement where the stove is located. This winter here in Tn. has been colder than I can remember. It is 15 deg. out this AM as I am typing. Temp inside is 70 deg. and comfortable. I have burned wood for 25 yrs. and have had different stoves. PROS: Price, burn 25" length wood, easy to start, heats quickly with seasoned wood, able to heat food, water during power outage (peace of mind), easy to use. CONS: short burn time- 3 hrs. comes without firebrick, needed to add x-tra damper 3 ft. above collar damper, replacement parts high cost, USES ALOT OF WOOD. Final thought: cheaper stove that has got me by a couple winters heating entire cabin.Puts out a lot of heat if you are willing to feed it wood. I will upgrade and burn much less 3.5 cords vs. 5.5 with this stove.
