United States Stove Company has been around since 1864 and in 2009 just celebrated the 140 birthday of their privately owned company. Since the beginning, they have promoted and expressed their start with the Perry Stove Works Company of Albany, NY. Later, Perry and a Memphis company, Wetter Manufacturer, joined forces and moved the facilities to South Pittsburg, near the bank of the Tennessee River. It is here they have stayed and continue to grow and produce effective and efficient home heating products.
