      Is this a flexible, inside entry cleaning kit?

    • The rods are flexible and can be used for cleaning from the bottom up. It really depends on your chimney length and the amount of creosote you typically have in your chimney. The longer the chimney the harder it is to force the rods up a chimney with a lot of creosote in it. If the rods are too flexible you won't be able to force the brush up the chimney. Too stiff and you have a hard time if you need to bend the rods from inside a stove. A popular choice for rods to clean from the bottom up are the ProFlex Rods. They are stout enough yet flexible enough. You will need an adapter to connect to most chimney brushes that don't have the Torque Lock connector, but this type of connector is worth the money as the brush won't come off and get stuck in the chimney...Robert
