Excellent product
I originally had a hardware store chimney pipe and a Schaefer 6" stainless steel chimney brush which worked fine. I replaced the chimney pipe with Selkirk Safe-T-Pipe and the brush was too tight. I purchased the 6'' Pro-Sweep Medium Duty (Poly) Chimney Brush 34606 and it worked perfectly and eliminated potential scoring of my chimney pipe.

it works
I had previously bought the regular (stiffer) brush, but couldn't get it into the chimney pipe from within my little wood stove. This brush is flexible enough to push into the pipe. It cleans just fine.

Fits exactly for the 6 pipe, does a good job.
You'll need a 3/8 to 1/4 inch adaptor to attach to the rods. We got one for a dollar at an Ace Hardware, just a 3/8 to 1/4 inch reducer, galvanized.

This brush works perfectly in our metal chimney. I ran the brush up and down the chimney with a flexible rod. We had a pile of creosote in the wood fireplace stove. It is strong and will last many years. I do the cleaning once or twice every year.

I was at first uncertain if the medium duty chimney brush was going to be sturdy enough to clean the metal pipe insert in my chimney. It worked great!!

The brush worked very well, as advertised.
However, I had to trim most of the bristles by ~ 1/16 about 1/8 total, as it would not fit in my SS chimney liner otherwise. I do not know if this was a brush issue or my chimney liner is a bit smaller than 6 diameter.
Net / net - the brush worked very well.

I have the thinner flex pipe sleeve inside my chimney and I was afraid it would tear with the steel brush. The poly brush worked great and caused zero damage.

Great option for 5.5 ss chimney liners. Easy to cut 1/4 off bristles all around with wire cutters.

I have used the brush, and it works great. I have a 5 1/2 stainless flue, so I had to get the 6 brush and cut it down a little. The brush seems very durable. It should last many years. It did a great job of cleaning the flue.
I also like Northline's fast service and reasonable shipping charges.
I will definitely buy from Northline again.

Works great . . . I had read some reviews of various products where folks had to trim the brush to fit into the pipe i.e. the 6-inch brush wouldn't fit very well into the 6-inch pipe . . . but this was not the case . . . fit perfectly and swept well.
