It really works

Gave this to hubby as a Christmas gift...we had lots of fallen trees from a storm and he tried it right away...it split the first piece and he just kept going...he loves it! It's sturdy, easy to use and easy to store.

smart product

Santa brought me this log splitter and I could not wait to try how it works: absolutely great! I had few larger pieces of wood on property too heavy to carry them around. With this wood splitter I chop them on spot and easily transport where I need. This log splitter is just perfect for my needs. No any log lifting, you can use this wood splitter practically anywhere. Some logs go easier to split, some take more hits, depends on wood.The tool is not any heavy to carry it around. After done with job, it takes very little room to store it inside.

We have now had our splitter for about 3 months. My husband used to split our wood with an ax, but we are getting older and he has had back problems, so we researched and bought this splitter. It can take several wacks to get a big log split, but there is really no wear and tear on our bodies. Also, I am able to do some of the splitting, which I could not do with an ax. It is quite heavy and appears well made. We are counting on it to last well. All in all, I wish we had bought it a few years ago and used it instead of the ax.

I have had this splitter for 5 years and it is great. I use it to split my wood for small starter pieces. I purchase split wood but always need starter pieces. I use a big whole log to set my wood to be split so that I do not dull the blade. It splits just like it is new after all these years.

Great product. I'm sure no self-respecting lumberjack would use this but it's great for those of us who value our toes. It takes some getting used to as there is some technique to it but it worked very in the end. It has a nice dampener spring built into the wedge so that the shock from dropping the weight doesn't reverberate up the handle to your hand. A nice feature. One negative... it's quite loud when the weight hits the wedge metal on metal to the point of being almost painful to the ears. I wore noise canceling headphones to complete the nerd look when using this device. Enjoy.

This splitter is great especially if you have neck, shoulders and back pain. It's so easy and there is no discomfort at all.

This product can be used with ease...does not have the physical demands of traditional splitting techniques. I am so happy we purchased this!

Think it is a great product. Logs split in from 3 to 20 strokes which is not a problem. Carrying the wood is more tiring then splitting it.

The easy wood splitter is the only way to ergonomically split wood. You can still get a workout by throwing the weight and you get a more effective split as well but dropping it with little or no effort will still get the job done. Delivery was made within 24 hours of making the order!

I needed to split a fair amount of green, slightly twisty maple, and was having little luck with wedges and mauls. The addition of the Easy-Split turned the tables and I was able to make quick work of the job. It's sturdy, beautifully designed, easy to use, and shockingly effective. A couple of times, I had to use it in tandem with wedges to split particularly wide logs, but it had no problem driving through 24 of log with no levering required.I recommend it very highly as a much safer and totally effective alternative to splitting axes and maul and wedge splitting.

This wood splitter is fantastic...makes very easy work of splitting wood! The only improvement that I would make to it would be use a solid aluminum or steel pole because I can see where hollow aluminum pole might bend while trying to remove the wedge from the log. WELL worth the money!

I was VERY impressed with this splitter. Not being the strongest people in the world, we were able to split the wood sections of an aged oak tree that we had cut down. The only problem that we may encounter is that the handle is made of aluminum hollow that could bend easily. I would still however recommend this product!

Fantastic device. Works just as described. Two or three whacks with the splitter is all it takes. Absolutely no bounce back from the splitter either.

Thank you for your quick delivery of the wood splitter. I'm 65 years old and was looking for an easier way to split wood. I found that the Easy Splitter was great for any log 15 to 18 inches long and around 8 inches thick. Anything thicker was too difficult. A friend told me about the Axe Grenade and it's awesome for large logs. Between the two devices, I'm ready to go.
