Details

The Timber Jack Log Jack will keep your chainsaw from plunging into the ground, preventing damage and dulling to your chain. This tool will lift or move logs up to 20" in diameter with ease and can help to minimize back strain while cutting wood, by bringing the wood up to a more comfortable height. Duel feet provide stability and keep the handle from digging into the ground. There is also an integrated toe lift to make removal of the hook from the log easy.

It's the Real Deal!

When my parents had 4 large maple trees taken down, we hit the jackpot on firewood. It soon became apparent the job was much bigger than we realized. I found this tool online from a merchant we had a good history with. It has surpassed our expectations! It allows one person to safely and easily handle logs which would have stopped us in our tracks. It makes the job so much easier. We now have a stock of wood cut and split for the next couple of heating seasons without the backache!

Good tool; Good value.

Very pleased with the Woodchuck Timber Jack. Bought it because I had several large trees down and needed to buck them into firewood length for splitting, and I was tired of having to roll the log after a partial cut. The tool made it easy to reduce several large logs to chunks for splitting with less time and effort.

Safety

I like log jacks...they improve safety. Remarkably, the demo video shows a guy cutting wood with no safety gear at all. I am always amazed to see this.....28,000 saw US accidents a year and the average one takes 100 stitches to close the wound. Any pro in the business knows that leg chaps, hand and face protection dramatically reduces injury. Northline is supposed to be a professionally run business, so I am really surprised at the lack of attention to safety!

Timber Jack log jack

I purchased 2 of these as Christmas gifts and my husband has already used it successfully!! It was something he had been looking for and worked well for getting logs off the ground for cutting. My son-in-law was also thrilled to receive one for the same purpose!

Excellent tool,beautifully made,the job is made a lot easy when you have tools manufactured as well as this.Would highly recomend to any one who processes firewood.

I was very pleased with the Woodchuck Timber Jack log jack too. It worked well with a variety of diameters of downed trees. The hook does a good job of biting into the trunks and there is plenty of leverage available. The aluminum handle is very strong. I would highly recommend this product.

    • How small of a diameter will this tool secure? Can it be used for rolling a log?
    • The log will secure t least 6" logs. And it will roll logs but only larger logs. For rolling logs it will be best to use the 5WC-WCT01.
