The Boxwood Stove comes fully assembled and ready to install with the exception of the four cast iron legs.

The Deluxe Boxwood Stove features a removable slide damper to assist in easy cleaning and maintenance while acting as a draft control. A spin draft on the front door helps regulate the fire. The Boxwood features a spring handle that secures with a gasketed feed door and remains cool to the touch for safe loading. A built-in damper/collar with a 6" flue acts as a safety feature to control the rate of combustion, and prevent smoke damage and the possibility of a house fire. The Boxwood accepts logs up to 27" in length and is topped with two 8" lift out cook lids that are easily removed with an included lid lifter.

Although the Boxwood Stove is built for heavy-duty use, it is very flexible and serves many other functional purposes. A simple pot of water or steamer set on the top of the wood stove will humidify your home and just a splash of stove scents added to that water will fill your cabin with delightful aroma. Some assembly required.

TO VENT THIS UNIT, YOU MUST USE SINGLE-WALL BLACK STOVE PIPE UNTILL YOU REACH A CEILING OR WALL; WILL NOT ACCEPT DOUBLE WALL STOVE PIPE. You Will need to start with a 12" piece of single-wall,black stove pipe with the crimped end up. You will then need to cut the crimped end off so that the pipe is now able to accept the next piece of stove pipe with the crimped side down.This unit burns hot enough that any creosote that collects in the pipe will burn off.

great for the price and takes big logs

we have had this wood stove for four going on five years now...What we like the most...the log size we can insert larger logs and have coals in the morning....that the logs roll while burning away from you when opening not at you...what we don't like...at first we thought the removeable top cooking areas was a cool feature but it becomes a pain....actually we would buy this stove again and again if it had a flat top no holes....sometimes when your inserting logs or wood it bumps the cooking things and then you have to get them back on just right...then where we are now after years of use they leak smoke...we have tried to seal these holes with no luck.....so we would love this company to come out with the option to purchase with or without holes on top...easy to use...pretty basic...overall love the stove..maintence we have had to do has been simple..like replace the damper from over heating...easy fix and under ten dollars and new seal around door...again easy and cheap would buy a blower for the pipe area though...we heat a large area and use a box fan to circulate and built in wall fans as well as ceiling fans...It has been know to really heat up our house some would joke we live in africa in the winter it gets that warm...we even had to open the windows on a snowy day...

    • What is done about the smoke leakage mentioned in the review, above? Does the waranty cover this BIG problem? Also, is there a fan available for the unit? Thanks
    • Thank you for your question. We recommend when you connect your first piece of pipe to the stove to use high temp furnace cement. This provides a nice tight seal around the pipe to the stove.
