This splitter really works. The video iscompletely accurate. I love it and my wood burns so much more easily with the smaller wedges.Works well and is solidly built.Shipping could use some tweaking. But I give it a 9 out of 10. Solid performer.

I am very hapy with the splitter. I am 73 yrs old and a widow so I need something I can handle and this fits the bill nicely. Being able to split my own wood is wonderful, when I need a piece made smaller I just plug it in and get the job done.

The video sold it...the shipping time frame was the best ever...the product was everything it was advertised as...thank you
terrific little machine. no more swinging the axe. needed many splits for my little pot belly stove, could not be happier. wish i found this sooner.
Very happy with the WoodEze log splitter, it handled most of the logs I had to split. I just purchased the stand for it, which raised it to a good comfortable hieght. My wife and I went through a large pile of wood in no time. Not the most powerful but worth the price.
I'm so glad I purchased this log splitter!! It was delivered quickly, and so far, it's excellent! I have 9 cords of wood that I'm making my way through, and it's split everything I've put on it. Simple to use, I was splitting wood 10 minutes after it arrived. Highly recommended!

The log splitter is good for very dry, straight-grained rounds, but not for blue-stained, stringy or wet Jeffrey pine. Since I cut a lot of Jeffrey pine when it is green, & store it for 1 year before splitting it, it often hasn't completely dried. I'm experimenting now by splitting the rounds into halves with a larger splitter to dry them, & will see if the 4-ton handles the half-rounds better in another month. I like the fact that it's portable & has wheels, as I'd never be able to lift it. I use it on my waist-high deck, & roll it into my mudroom to store it. Having to use 2 hands to operate it makes positioning the rounds difficult.
