Perfect tool.

We started the fire with the damper closed just once. Then I shopped for a solution and this is it. It hangs low enough to be in the way so you can't miss it, but it's that rubbed black color that doesn't stick out. It's very high quality at a fantastic price.

It's makes opening the damper so easy and when I close the damper I leave it hanging in the fireplace as a reminder to open the damper before the next fire. I will never again fill my living room with smoke! And it matches my wrought iron fireplace tool set.

A great price, very good quality. I would recommend both the damper pull and Northline express.com. The damper pull was as described, communication from Northline was prompt and clear. Shipping was timely. I would order from Northline again.
