14'' DuraTech Wall Thimble - 14DT-WT

The DuraTech Wall Thimble adjusts from a minimum of 4" to a maximum of 10", and fits between standard wall studs. To accommodate thicker walls, the telescoping pieces can be extended up to 16" with a field-fabricated extension installed. The interior trim ring is painted black. The Thimble must be installed with DuraTech Chimney pipe horizontally through the wall and extend 6" into the room beyond the interior wall.

DuraTech is a 1" wall, all-fuel chimney system for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas.

With a Thermal Tech blanket insulation encased between duel walls, DuraTech offers superior safety and performance. It keeps the outer wall cool while ensuring high flue gas temperatures for optimum draft performance. The inner wall is 25% thicker than competitive chimneys, for an extra margin of safety. DuraTech chimney is tested and listed for continuous operation at 1000° F flue gas temperatures, one hour at 1400° F and ten minutes at 1700° F, in accordance with the UL 103 test standard.
