It is important to install this light in an area where it gets enough sunshine to charge properly - preferably a South facing location or as near as possible! This light should NOT be placed in a shaded area.

Please Note: The batteries do not come with any charge in them so the unit will need to be outside in a sunny spot for three days to build up a base charge before installing.
