Just 2 weeks after cleaning our chimney we had a fire. I used the chimfex incorrectly plus it had been laying around for several years and it still put the fire out by the time the firefighters arrived. There wasn't one firefighter familiar with the product but they took great interest in reading the box. Using chimfex should NEVER be a substitute for calling 911 for a fire!! This is a MUST have safety product if you heat your home with wood!! You have a great video on proper usage that should be watched by the whole household using a woodburner.
This product works very well. I've used it twice and gotten super results. I'm amazed that firemen and police have so little knowledge about Chemfex.
