6" DuraTech Reduced Clearance Square Ceiling Support Box - 6DT-CS24R

The Reduced Clearance Square Ceiling Support Box supports chimney pipe and provides a positive connection between the support box and the chimney with a built-in twist-lock. This support box is suitable for both flat and cathedral ceiling applications, can also be used in short attic spaces. Will fit between standard 12" on center joists and most manufactured home applications and will support up to 60 feet of DuraTech chimney pipe. An adapter can be used to attach DVL or DuraBlack to the support box. A 2' wide trim collar is included.

With a Thermal Tech blanket insulation encased between duel walls, DuraTech offers superior safety and performance. It keeps the outer wall cool while ensuring high flue gas temperatures for optimum draft performance. The inner wall is 25% thicker than competitive chimneys, for an extra margin of safety. Designed for normal, continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures, DuraTech is subjected to rigorous and stringent HT requirements of the UL standard, including one hour at 1400°F, plus three ten minute chimney fire tests at 2100°F.
