These gloves are great for around the hearth use, where the intensity of radiating heat from the fire is too great for comfortable use of fireplace tools. HearthX gloves are also excellent for loading hot stoves and ash removal. A handy flexible glove finished in black suede.

They do keep your fingers from getting too hot

"They do keep your fingers from getting too hot. But they do not fit all that well and I have an average size hand. I have only had the gloves for a couple months, so I am not sure how they will do over the long haul, but they fingertips are already getting somewhat stiff. This happened to my last gloves and that I why I had to replace then, they were too stiff to use."
