Additional Information:

If using this paint on a BBQ grill:

  • Stove Bright paint is not rated for extended exposure to the sun as other exterior paints are and will fade over time. Constant exposure will show fading or dulling around the third or fourth season. Keeping the grill covered or in an area not exposed to the UV light will lengthen the time before seeing the fading/dulling.
  • Stove Bright paint is not rated for food and the grease and food chemicals are caustic to the paint. Recommended to wipe any food or grease off of the paint immediately so it won't attack the film of the paint.
  • Never paint the inside of the grill/unit.

Defective Spray

"The paint itself is awesome in coverage, appearance, and temperature tolerance. However I read a review about the spray not working well and I am glad I ordered extra. Out of 4 cans, 2 had defective spray nozzles and would not spray properly. Yes. . . I shook the can vigorously for several minutes prior to using and the room temperature was 70 degrees f."

Stove bright paint

"Horrible stuff. Don't buy! Can will only spray for a short time then nozzle clogs and you are totally screwed. Bought two cans and have almost one whole can left because nozzle clogged after spraying for a short time so that one is totally unusable…other can lasted a little longer but still have one third of can left and unusable. Total waste of money. If i could give it it a zero rating I would. We shook the cans for 20 minutes and cans had been stored in house until we used them. There are no excuses except it's an inferior product. First time ordering from you…not too happy at this point!"

This is the second time we ordered this high temp paint

"This is the second time we ordered this high temp paint. We have a woodstove and the stack needs painting every few years. It is easy to use and within days of our online order, the paint was delivered. Very happy with the product."

Great product

"Great product. Easy to use-covers very well. Was more than enough to cover our stove pipe and stove. Love the color."

Laurasue K. (5/5)

Most importantly, it was great to find a heat resistant. . .

"Most importantly, it was great to find a heat resistant paint product that I could use to refurbish a badly discolored brick fireplace in my older home, in a choice of colors other than the black available in home stores. The Honeyglo Brown shade I chose came out a lot darker than in the online picture, in fact, close to black, but I'm not too worried about it since the soot from fires will be even less obvious than in my original plan. My only real caveat is that even though every paint can in the world tells you to ventilate well, this time really do it. In fact, you might want to add a dust mask labeled as suitable for filtering paint spray mist the $5 3M R95 rated mask, for example, and leave the area entirely a few times per can. The metallic and fire resistant components are likely the culprits, but this spray adds another dimension to paint's usual toll on simple breathing."
