"BOUGHT THIS FOR A CHRISTMAS GIFT AND SEASONED IT BEFORE USING BY BAKING IN OVEN COATED WITH OIL BUT IT DID NOT PREVENT IT FROM RUSTING BECAUSE NOT EVEN ONE MONTH AND THE BOTTOM IS RUSTED. VERY DISAPPOINTED SINCE THIS POT IS VERY HEAVY AND I WOULD OF THOUGHT IT TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY BUT IT WAS NOT. MAY HAVE TO SETTLE FOR ONE THAT HAS A PORCELAIN COATED BOTTOM."

Initially I didn't get the water to vaporize quickly enough so I just opened the lid slightly. Works perfect! Good value for the buck! Oh yes, season it first. . . and for the sake of your marriage, do it in the barbeque not the kitchen stove."
