Description

The HomeSaver Pro Stainless Chimney Cap has a clean, stylish design that will protect your home and enhance chimney draft no matter what type of fuel is being used. Aside from an attractive design, the HomeSaver Pro Cap features a 100% 304 stainless steel build right down to its pointed, slotted hex-head set-screws. It is surrounded by an 8" high, 18-ga., 3/4" mesh screen to prevent animal invasion and a hand-finished rolled edge. The HomeSaver Pro Cap is finished with a one-piece base constructed with weld nut technology to prevent stripped threads.

Our old grate eventually began to bend and come undone

"When you have located the issue. Mike in Customer support worked with me when I could not get this to work in the first fixture. We tried everything to no avail, even hot wiring it. I tried the hot wire standalone with clips and the tube worked fine. So, the culprit is the tombstones on this 30-year-old fixture. Replaced those (heck of a chore) and we are fine. Lights up the work surface great - which was to be expected. Now to see how long they last. Since we plan to get out of the house in 5 years or so, I will never know!"
