Established in 1975 by Johnny and Rosemary Beard, Johnny Beard Company has proven itself to be America's leading manufacturer of fireplace and wood stove bellows. Johnny's expertise in woodworking, leather working and metalworking were all utilized to create bellows that are beautiful as well as functional.
They relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1979 and set up their bellows factory. A tag on each Johnny Beard bellows has an ink drawing depicting this first workshop. After several expansions and many years later, Johnny Beard Company still operates out of this same workshop in Tulsa.
Johnny Beard bellows have come to be recognized as superior quality products and Johnny Beard himself is regarded as one of the ''most creative men in the fireplace industry''. All Johnny Beard products are handcrafted with the utmost of care, and Johnny still hand signs each and every product, which serves as a mark of excellence.
