Rutland's Gray Fireplace Mortar is formulated especially to patch fireplace fireboxes and for bonding firebrick to firebrick. Fireplace mortar is a silicate product that when fire cured, sets rock hard - as strong as firebrick itself.

Rutland's fireplace mortar comes in a convenient 10.3 oz cartridge for easy reappointing of fireplace brick. Apply with caulking gun. Mortar can withstand 2000° F. Not for exterior use.
