8" Single Wall or Double Wall Stove Pipe

Choose Your Stove Pipe Type

Stove pipe is used from the top of the woodstove or freestanding fireplace to the bottom of the ceiling or wall where it will connect to class-A chimney pipe or a masonry chimney. Single Wall Stove Pipe radiates more heat into the room than double wall stove pipe and requires 18" clearance from combustible surfaces where Double Wall Stove Pipe requires only 6" from walls and 8" from ceilings when used horizontally. For close-clearance installations or mobile home installations use double wall stove pipe. Follow manufacturer recommendations whenever applicable. Never use a chimney that is smaller in diameter than the flue size of the appliance it is being connected to. Never use stove pipe in place of class-a chimney pipe.
